I know you're supposed to use Tinker's Construct tools, but how on earth are you supposed to mine iron if you can't ever mine above copper with the flint pickaxe? I get that you can just find random pick axes around from exploring, but isn't there some kind of progression to reach higher through crafting?

I didn't realize aluminum + copper could be made into smeltery plates. Both of which can be mined with the (leveled up) flint pickaxe. So from there, you'd make those plates, then cast a copper pick axe head via tinkers construct.
What the hell is this BS?! I can't mine stone with a stone pickaxe.

AM2 is PvP. This modpack is PvE.
I'm having trouble downloading the new update? i would like some advice on what to do. D:
Try redownloading the pack now. We were down for server maintenance for a bit.
For some reason, whenever i try to enter the server from the hub, the game just shuts down. how fix?

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling technic as well as the mod pack, but so far, i have had no luck.

So me and a friend decide to play on this server, and at first it seemed nice and all but THEN we RTPd and found an UNCLAIMED BASE, which, under the assumption that it belonged to a player who hadn't been online in however long it takes for claims to go away or was just flat out abandoned, we raided. In response, an admin that lacked in both respect for their player community and just general people skills then came to our base, took everything we owned save a single chest (even the stuff we got on our own, leaving us with complete garbage) and, to add injury to insult, scolded my friend without so much as trying to understand our side to it... Talk about abusive staff

You took items from a base that the player was in the process of moving and reclaiming their land. We don't just take your items because we think it is fun and you both were told this and you were left with way more than 1 chest full of items. Mind you they weren't just regular chests either, they were draconic chests. As far as not trying to understand your side, you were both compliant, at the time, but now want to come say differently.
Is the server down for maintenance or something? I can't get on from the hub world.

Can anyone please tell me how to play this in multiplayer? I want to play it with Hamachi with 2 friends but i cant get it to work ... :(

Multiplayer is only supported through the official server.
Single player, LAN and assimilated are missing critical fixes that we're not allowed to distribute.
Where is the Server version.

There's only one official server, pre-loaded in the modpack.

It's a modded server, you need the mods installed on your client to be able to join the server.
If you have FPS issues, you can try removing torcherino, FPS+ and Fastcraft, or add Optifine. Different players will have different effect from those changes, so you'll have to try them.
Also remember to keep your RAM allocation low. Giving too much RAM will actually lag your client.
Its pretty fun, I like mods with lots of thaumcraft stuff, but some of the mods are very unsupported. Deep Tanks are also completely nonfunctional.

Tinker's steelworks is requiring a specific size and positionning unlike Tinker's Construct tanks. Remember you can reach staff on Discord when you need help.
Hi I just want to say that this is by far my favorite mod pack. Me and my friend was hopping you could add a couple of mods. Mr. Crayfishes furniture mod, Mo Creatures, and flans. Thanks

Thank you for your comments, we can look into Mr.Crayfishes but Mo Creatures can not be added due to the mod author not letting people use the mod and flans does not fit into the theme of this pack.
Is there a possibility of anyone adding Ars Magica 2 and the Morph Mod to this modpack? That would make this modpack one of the coolest ones!

I seem to suffocate whenever I go deep into a cave. What mod causes this and how can i prevent myself from suffocating? -Thanks!

glenns gasses mods, and you can make a gas mask from the mod to help.
Could you please add Ars Magica 2 to the modpack? It is one of my favorite mods and i would love to see it in this modpack.
I am sorry but Ars Magica is geared more towards pvp and we are a pve server. It will not be added.
Is there a way you can add openblocks? I hate losing my experience when i die
