Install A New Classic Update

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (A New Classic Update) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select A New Classic Update from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

I created this pack because I was tired of trying to find a pack that added all the updated mods from Tekkit Classic without adding bloat. This pack has the goal of recreating the Tekkit Classic experience without adding a bunch of other game changing mods as well.

This is a Tekkit Classic pack without mods like TE, EnderIO, or others.

I think I got all the major mods from Tekkit Classic. If anyone has a dispute with this, feel free to let me know and I will fix.
I know Railcraft is out for 1.12, but it's modpack license disallows its use.
