Okay, well the only things I can think of are either there isn't enough RAM to launch the mod packs, or the launcher is screwed up. For the first, go to Launcher Settings > Java Settings > and then increase the RAM usage, just don't overload the RAM... Scary and heartbraking things happen if that happens Lol. For the second possibility, Try reinstalling the launcher. Also, if the pack isn't an official pack, then try downloading and running an official pack to ensure that it isn't just improper configuration by the mod author.
okay i have lready had 10gbs and rinstalled the launcher and modpacks and till nothing the packs are realm of mianite and ethos lab so they should work
Oh boy... There's been lots of issues with those two packs lately Lol, okay so some people were having this issue because the launcher was insistent on using an outdated version of Java. This is also configurable in the Java Settings menu under Launcher Settings. 10 Gigs is A LOT so that definitely isn't the issue... I'll keep looking around to see if I can find a solution to this very common problem. Maybe Amaxter has released some new info.
Another question, do you have the launcher console enabled? If so, can you upload the log to pastebin.com and put the link here? That may contain some useful info. Also, I have come across alot of reports of Mac users being unable to run the pack at all. Are you on Mac or Windows?
http://pastebin.com/gcabn2BG t ithink this is it could you tell me how to get to the launcher log because i went to a log and it was extremely long i could only paste the end of it
Nothing on the feeds, I just started a help topic on the matter, maybe fruitful. But there is good news and bad news. Good news is, it works just fine on mine with a fraction of the RAM and Windows, so it's not the pack... Bad news is this complicates things because it could be something tiny and hard to find. At any rate, if we can't solve it, we can start a ticket for support.technic.net and a team will look into the issue. May take a while though, they are really busy with the Feb 9th migration so I doubt they'd get back to you in a day or two...
So to get to the launcher log, you need to enable the console in Launcher Settings, then try to run the pack and when it freezes right-click the console and click "copy". Then go to notepad, or something like it, and paste. Then save that file and load it to pastebin. I hope that's clear lol if not just let me know and I'll try to do better. Meanwhile, I'll take a look at that first log.
It seems to be working now when i left the console open i saw that it was still doing work so instead of exiting i left it run for awhile thank you so much for the help ^.^
