Install Hardcore Modded Skyblock

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Hardcore Modded Skyblock) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Hardcore Modded Skyblock from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Work has begun on the spiritual successor to HMS, which is called Defiance of Fate and will be for 1.7.10. Based on how HMS went it will probably be a couple of months before I release a public version.

This will be another tutorial style HQM. While I intend to adhere to the "purity" of HMS, it will only start off as skyblock; there will be quests in many dimensions. Hardcore will be optional. New mods will include Tree Growing Simulator (no more waiting 40 minutes for your first tree!), Witchery, Galacticraft, and RFTools. While there will be some adventuring, this is not an adventure focused pack. If you're looking for adventure I can recommend the FTB pack Clouds of Darkness by p1kashwak.

I've been playing survival on this modpack for a few weeks and it's finally time for me to go to the nether. But once I got there all I could see was blackness? I used xp to have night vision but it appears there is nothing in the nether right now :/ I'm using the latest update for this but it doesn't seem to change it. Is there anything that can be done?

You aren't actually meant to go to the nether. There literally isn't anything there.
