Install Tekkit 2

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekkit 2) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekkit 2 from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Tekkit 2 updated to version 1.2.1

Minor fixes and improvements! Changes: • Added Modern Beta Forge, a mod that allows creating worlds with old Minecraft generation presets including beta, alpha and more! Also added Minor Integrations and Additions for better mod integrations (mainly JER), and IC2C UU-Matter which adds support for viewing UU-Matter & Plasma recipes. • Updated 3 mods to their latest versions, including a fix to IC2C's smelting not working properly. • Minor script and configuration improvements, including adding item rarities to different items in the modpack, and other small changes. That's it! Hopefully the update will soon be pushed to everyone using Recommended. Enjoy :)

I just updated my Tekkit 2 version from 1.0 to 1.2.1, and after that, my game kept crashing. I tried to launch it 5 times but with no success. I even tried putting my video settings to the lowest I could. I also did notice that opening my inventory was a guaranteed crash. Is there any possible fix for this?

I just noticed it only in the worlds I created in the 1.0 version, but I do put much value in my older worlds. So is there any way to recover my world?

Go to the modpack's installation folder and delete "options.txt" to reset to default.

lost 50 mod packs with this update, thats means all my items are gone ,

Having an issue with loading a world from 1.1.3, when opening the world, the world generation crashes at 0%. The only way to fix it is to open a new world, close it and then open the original one i wanted to play

Please fix or remove the forestry Bio Generator, it's totally broken! It explodes no matter what you do when connected to any IC2 machines/transformers
