Install TCR Classic Refined 1.12+

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (TCR Classic Refined 1.12+) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select TCR Classic Refined 1.12+ from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Hey, I noticed the page says the pack comes with BluePower, my favorite mod (besides the old RedPower) but it's not in the mod list when I load the modpack. Was it removed or something? Love the pack otherwise tho!

Hi, would it be possible to keep the older version at least for a while after the latest update? Server providers like for example Aternos update modpacks in their database on weekends, which means any servers are unplayable until than. Thank you

Hello, you can download older versions of this modpack here: http://files.janchaloupka.cz/modpacks/ . Simply download the zip file, delete "mods" folder in your modpack intallation (typically %appdata%/.technic/modpacks/tcr-classic-refined-112) and copy contents of the zip into the modpack installation folder.

I enabled solder, so now you can choose older version in the launcher!

Hi I updated the modpack and unfortunatelly it does not start any more do you have any idia why? When I try to start it it shows the mojang loading screen and then the windod closes :(

Hi, can you please try to start the modpack multiple times? I have encountered situations where the modpack doesn't start on first launch after update. Alternatively you can try to uninstall the modpack and download it again (but don't forget to backup all your saves, screenshots and other inmortant data!)

hi, first of all thank you for your work. I have a question, would it be possibile to have on the launcher the older versions as well? i started a server with a friend a couple of months ago on 2.4.2 and i have no idea on how to update the server without losing the world.

Unfortunately I would need to setup Solder software if I wanted to show multiple versions and it's lot of work. I can see what i can do. The update should be compatible with saves from older versions. If you want to update the server (first, backup your world!): - Remove "mods" folder in the server directory - Download latest server zip package and extract all files into your server folder (replace old files with files from downloaded zip). - Start your server and wait. The server may ask you in console to confirm map conversion. You can do that by typing "/fml confirm" command (with the backspash at the beginning) - That's it, now the server is running latest version of this modpack
