Before you update: Make a backup of any extra mods you have installed (such as Optifine or FastCraft) as the update process will delete them. You can paste them again in the mods folder after the update is done. It has been replaced by Voxelmap - Chisel has been removed in favor of Chisel 2. Chisel 2 is backwards compatible, and it adds many more blocks. Forge Multipart blocks for Chisel have been removed as they didn't have crafting recipes through Project Red's handsaw.
