About the Pack:

I have worked a very long time on this pack and played it myself with friends. This pack aims on the beauty of Minecraft. It tries to bring back the feeling you had, when playing survival for the first time.

The hole pack is designed to be an extension to the original Minecraft. Therefore it adds for example real fish, that actually swim in the water, so you can catch those with a rod or by sword. When carrying a buck filled with water, it is also let's you catch the fish alive so that you can breed the fish in fish-tanks. But to catch these fish, you need a better rod than the normal vanilla thing.

The technical part of the pack is much more complex, than in most others. Immersive Engineering introduces complex machinery and more realistic electric cables. Also all electrical lights prevent monsters from spawning in a certain radius around them. The only exception here, are the floodlights. But in exchange those will light up a huge area. Craft yourself an "Engineer's Manual" and dominate the world with mining drills, flamethrowers, revolvers and railguns.

With my own mod "fqc" that was exclusively written by myself for the pack, lot's of new stuff is introduced. To name some of it, different animal breeds that can be achieved by breeding, are a great extent to the original Minecraft animals. Some of the new breeds must be achieved by genetic-manipulation. More blocks, tools, armor, swords and electric lights are also extending the experience you have, while playing the pack. The "Ghosting Drink" will make you invisible to the vanilla monsters and to the new spooky ones I created to make nights more scary. Staying outside during nighttime seems not so smart anymore, since you don't want to be hunted by Xenomorphs, Ghost Girls, and other creepy killers.

Going to the Nether for certain stuff is not necessary anymore, since there are other ways to get your hands on those things you need. To figure out crafting recipes "Not Enough Items" is a great help. Just look for the item or block you want, hover over it, and press "R" to figure out how to craft it. Also you can figure out what can be done with it by pressing "U".

Another thing that is introduced by my own mod, are Torches that have to be lit with flint and steel, or by putting them into a furnace. These torches also burn out after a certain amount of time, depending on the type of torch you use. The non wax torches turn off, if placed in rain, but can be ignited again. Also they can be extinguish by sneaking + right clicking to save them for the night. If using a shaderpack and holding a lit torch in darkness, they will also light up the area around you.

But not only the mechanic of the game is improved. Mods like Biomes O' Plenty, ExtraBiomesXL, Plant Mega Pack and some others change the appearance of your world. The "Streams" mod even brings real flowing rivers into Minecraft and "Underground Biomes Construct" creates a hole greater mining experience by adding new layers of rocks. Of course this changes the way you build your home, too.

The way you feed yourself is drastically change in this pack. Harvestcraft and Lot's of Food give you much more options and "Hunger Overhaul" even changes the way crops grow. Also "Hunger Overhaul" provides you with much more details about the food you eat and it makes starving possible, no matter what difficulty you play.

By the way, my mod "fqc" makes creepers drop meat and skin. But you should really cook the meat first.

Let me give you a little advise for surviving in this new world: Don't be outside when the Bloodmoon rises! ;)
