Install GRIMDARK

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (GRIMDARK) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select GRIMDARK from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Grimdark focuses on the most possible exploration and loot.. If it's all too much, all of the tools you'd expect to find in a skyblock are present to let you automate into the clouds. Expanded mob drops and loot tables, Project E, dungeons everywhere (BOP integration), Advanced Rocketry, Thermal Expansion, Modular Powersuits, Modern Warfare.

Grimdark has been developed and tested to bring you the latest and greatest in modded Minecraft content, while remaining stable on 1.10.2 for 8-10 people on a dedicated server. The pack will be consistently updated as new mods are released. If you'd like test it out, play on the public server and help contribute to the discussion, hop in the discord!

STARTING OUT

  • Getting through a dungeon will likely leave you equipped with enchanted diamond gear
  • Recall stones will get you home
  • Low FPS? Disable mipmaps
  • Y by default is set to toggle sneak
  • Configure your custom crosshair
  • Starting a new world? Use Chunkgen to pregenerate and reduce lag
  • Disable explosions inside claimed chunks
  • 4GB recommended RAM
